UNC wins fifth NCAA championship

The UNC men’s basketball team won their fifth NCAA championship Monday night defeating Michigan St. It’s quite a redemption story considering their extremely disappointing finish last year and the fact that star players like Hansborough passed on the NBA to play at Carolina one more year. On the other hand though, it wasn’t that good of a game; the Tarheels dominated from start to finish. When I was in school at UNC I photographed the Franklin St. chaos several times during Halloween, ACC and NCAA tournaments. It is absolutely insane. The last time I photographed the melee my wallet was stolen. But I still got love for Chapel Hill. Below is a very nice time lapse of the night
