Lord of the Rings Symphony

The other day I was nerding out searching for news about the Hobbit movie and somewhere along the way I came across the LOTR symphony. It has been performed all around the world since the movies came out. So I started to wonder, had it ever played New York City or could I be lucky enough to find out that it would be soon. My dream came true and I immediately bought two tickets, orchestra seating, five rows back. It sounds pretty amazing; a full orchestra and choir will be performing Howard Shore’s original score from The Fellowship of the Ring. I’m looking forward to Spring but I really can’t wait for fall now. Get your tickets! I’ll be there Friday night.
